16 Mar How Much Can I Earn Doing Lashes?
The lash industry is growing rapidly at the moment and has been for the last few years.
It is a billion pound industry and one that continues to grow.
There is an amazing opportunity to earn life changing amounts of money in this industry if you take it serious.
If you are thinking about starting a career in the lash industry knowing the earning potential is recommended as with any business opportunity.
So the question everyone wants to know is………
How much money can you make as a lash artist?
Well the answer very much depends on the lash artist, what they charge, where they’re based, how much they work, experience and there outgoings (rent etc)
If you are working 12 hours a day for 6 days, you will obviously earn more than someone only working two days a week.
In short it can vary so much.
I have put below a couple of examples of a very average price range in Scotland and the earning potential.
Now remember some people are priced much higher than this (more earning potential) and some lower hence why I have taken an average.
X5 1 hour in fills at £35 each = £175 per day
X 3 2 hour full sets at £60 each = £180 per day
Working x5 days a week 6 hours you could potentially make £900-£1100 per week.
You then have to take into consideration your running costs, marketing costs, if working from home they will have a lot less outgoings than owning a salon or renting a room, however, your prices would reflect this also.
With all that in mind, take all of this with a grain of salt. There are lash artists and Lash bar owners around the world who make way above £100,000 a year. There are also lash artists who make much less.
The best thing in our opinion about lash extensions is that you get to be in the driver’s seat of your career.
Work as many or as little hours and days as you want.
Being a lash artist is what you make it and what you earn is up to you.
